Registration Notice
- Per MIIT regulations, a domain must complete real-name verification; otherwise it will be put on ServerHold and cannot be used normally.
- Verification data reporting for domain filing (ICP) takes more than 3 working days; please submit your website filing at least 3 working days after the domain real-name verification succeeds.
- Domain prefixes containing or implying "中国" (China), "国家" (National), "中华" (Chinese) or "全国" (Nationwide), in Chinese or English, must be applied for by the corresponding eligible organization; otherwise they cannot pass naming review.
- It is strictly forbidden to use Guoxu (XDNS) domain services for online fraud or to provide support for fraudulent activities!
- ".政务" (zhengwu), ".公益" (gongyi), "政务.cn" and "公益.cn" domains, like ".gov.cn", are reserved for websites of Chinese Party/government organs or units legally exercising their functions. Only such organs/units (with an Organization Code Certificate, legal-person type: government organ) may register them — enterprises and individuals are not allowed. Different organs/units must apply through the designated channels as required by policy.
- Party/government organ websites must use the ".gov.cn" or ".政务" suffix; websites of other organizations may not register or use ".gov.cn" or ".政务" domains. Public institution websites should use the ".cn" or ".公益" suffix. Organs and public institutions must not transfer registered website domains to other units or individuals without authorization.
